Studio Salix is a multidisciplinary design house based in Miami, Florida, grounded in landscape architecture, operating across design, construction, development, and product. The studio approaches each project holistically, integrating landscape architecture, planting design, construction administration, development strategy, curation, and event design into a cohesive design process. Alongside spatial work, Studio Salix extends its practice into product design and manufacturing, creating furniture, objects, and household items that reflect a consistent focus on materiality, craft, and experience. Across all scales, the studio is driven by a commitment to thoughtful, integrated design and the creation of environments that feel refined, intentional, and enduring.
Led by Adam Miller and Claire Samaha, Studio Salix draws on experience across high-end residential, hospitality, commercial, and public landscapes. Both founders hold a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture with a minor in Horticulture from Louisiana State University. Adam Miller has worked internationally across both public and private sectors, bringing a practice rooted in curiosity and hands-on exploration of form, material, and space. Claire Samaha is a landscape architect with a strong technical foundation, specializing in detailed documentation, coordination, and construction-driven design shaped through years of professional practice in premium design environments. Together, they share a belief in craft, experimentation, and thoughtful design at every scale.
